Editorial policy
WebThreat Research articles name the source of every factual claim and date every correction and update.
Last updated
How we research
We start from primary sources where they exist: laws and regulator guidance, official statements, published research and the documentation of the companies involved. Each factual claim in an article names the source it came from, in the sentence or as a link, and every source is listed with its link at the end of the article. Statements about WebThreat's own products describe what the products do today. Articles are published under the name WebThreat Research.
Corrections
If you find an error, write to [email protected] with the article and what is wrong. Substantive corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date of the correction.
Updates
An article's "Updated" date changes only for substantive changes, such as a corrected fact, a new source or a changed recommendation. Fixes to spelling or formatting leave it as it is.
Conflicts of interest
WebThreat sells products in the category it writes about. Comparison pages link the vendor pages they describe, with the date they were checked. How CEM measures executive exposure is set out in the methodology.
